For all of us with FireFox and the occassional spelling problem, this is great extension to have. It not only tells you the definitions of any words on the paticular page you are on, but also the correct way of spelling it, and most impotant, the ones we type ourselves!!. This just might be something that will make Jafo happy and his job easier!!

Cool. Will have a look at it. At the moment I have the Google toolbar installed just to get spellchecking.

I use this:
Link
. If a dictionary clip doesn't come up, I know I spelled it wrong -- I also like the searches better than google's - i like the way it clusters and groups the searches
- you can right click on a word and do a wikipedia or websearch in a new tab

Now that all depends on whether it is U.S.English based, or English/Australian English based?
I think it would have to be the latter to completely quell, placate, satisfy his need for correctness of spelling.
Personally, so I'm Told, I don't need a spellchecker because I'm a walking dictionary......even if I don't know all the meanings to everything I CAN spell

Sorry about that...just going through one of those phases, had to throw a spanner in the works....bad hair days, etc
S'pose can't complain too much, I guess....still got a reasonable mop of hair into my 50's Wouldn't mind a few attibutes of a younger man though....like a strong, firm chest that didn't slip.....closest neigbour to mine these days is my waistline

It's so good to see you have such a wonderful sense of humor, Starkers. It will take you far through your trials and tribulations. And I know what you mean about the firm chest part!! LOL! I hope you have a great weekend.

I always try to keep my sense of humour intact, regardless of any situation. If there's a funny side to anything, I can and will find it...because laughter is the best medicine when feeling low.
The chest bit started one day when my wife was measuring my waist to buy me a new belt.....commenting that I had put on some weight......
"No I haven't!!!! It's just that my ribs hurt and my chest has slipped."
And I shall endeavour to have the best weekend I possibly can....with my PC & WC for company, I'm sure my wife and I will enjoy ourselves.....thank you for your kind wishes.
